The Recovery of Red

red.recovery.frontpage

We are excited to share that one of our clients was recently reunited with her beloved companion, Red, who was recovered after being lost for over two weeks. Red, a 12 year old terrier mix, was separated from his home on New Year's day. Suffering from diabetes, it was imperative that he get home as soon as possible.

Fortunately due to posted flyers and help from the community, Red was miraculously recovered at the Dekalb County Animal Control. After being turned in by a good samaritan, an observant control officer noticed a flyer featuring Red and made the extra effort to call his owners. He was returned to them, and then taken to The Animal Emergency Center of Decatur where he received supportive care by their attentive staff. Thanks to the faith and dedication of all those involved, Red is on the road to recovery and has been reunited with his loving owners. We are so happy for Red and his family.

A particular shout out to Dekalb Animal Control for their efforts, and for Pat Thomas with Photophetish Photography who dedicates lots of time and effort to getting out emails about lost pets.
